They are afraid for your roof ? Make worry it could be damaged?

Technical features for Flat Roofs:

Build the photovoltaic systems a protective mat (Material : rubber , Material Thickness : 8 mm) is on your roof surfaces installed first . On this our frames (material: pure aluminum ) will be issued so that no roof penetration is required. In the aluminum pans concrete slats stones of wind and snow loads with respect to plant safety . Inserted. Between stones and aluminum felt is placed to prevent chemical reactions. The aluminum frame is bolted so that it can be removed at any time . On the surface of the frame , the modules are fastened with stainless steel screws. The individual rows of modules are connected by means of tension and compression rods to secure the respective static specifications .

The roof loads additionally required amount in the photovoltaic system to about 12-20 kg / m² .

Critics claim that it is too umbrageous in Germany for photovoltaics to be a profitable business - do investements in solar energy systems pay off at all?

In Germany, the annual average solar radiation is 1,000 kWh per square meter. This figure equals more than half of the solar energy that can be generated in the Sahara. Therefore, in the long run approximately one quarter of the power requirement in Germany can be covered by solar power through efficient solar plants. Within a few years, solar power in Germany will be cheaper than electricity obtained from conventional generation. In the southern regions, this will be the case sooner due to the higher solar radiation.

Terrible events like those that occurred recently in Japan make us realize in a cruel way how uncontrollable nuclear energy is - and how obvious the solution of safe solar energy is (source: BSW-Solar).

Which role will solar energy assume in the future?

In the global energy mix, solar energy will be the most important primary energy source! The WBGU (German Advisory Council on Global Change) of the German Federal Government forecasts that solar energy will account for 25% of the total power generated globally by 2050, and for 63% by 2100. In the process, the increase of renewable energies is accompanied by a decrease of conventional energy sources. According to the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE), the estimated share of solar energy in Germany will amount to approximately 25% in the long run. (source: BSW-Solar)

Did you know?

 

  • In comparison to conventionally generated power, electricity  generated from solar cells saves the Earth´s atmosphere almost 90% of harmful emissions. (source: BWV-Solar).

  • According to estimates of of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI),  healthcare costs and environmental follow-up costs amounting to approximately EUR 24 billion annually // per year are not included  in the existing rates for conventional electricity. Therefore, the general public has to bear these costs (e. g. health insurance contributions)

  • The solar energy produced in Germany will save approximately 30 million tons of CO2-emissions per year from 2030 on and, in this way, make an important contribution to environmental and climate protection.

  • According to estimates of BSW-Solar, solar energy will, in 20 years at the latest, generate the same amount of electricity that is prduced from domestic hard coal today!

  • By 2030, solar energy will have replaced imports of hard coal and natural gas to the value of roughly EUR 3 billion (source: BSW-Solar).

  • A solar energy system achieves an equal energy balance already after 2 to 3 years - in other words: after this time, it has generated all the electricity that was needed for its production.

  • According to BSW-Solar, approximately 2.7 billion kWh (kilowatt hours) of solar electricity were generated from January through March 2011 - this figure equals the annual requirement of almost 785,000 households!

  • According to estimates of BSW-Solar, in 2010 roughly another 7,400 MWp (megawatt peak) of solar power capacity were connected to the grid - this figure more or less corresponds to the performance of a nuclear power plant!

  • By 2020, 47% of the German electricity consumption can be covered by renewable energies (source: BEE).
